Kompass Frei S.A.S. is in its start-up phase as a treasury venture built on Bitcoin.
The objective is clear:
- preserve and expand patrimonial value through BTC,
- while establishing a transparent, resilient financial structure that supports real economic activity.
Bitcoin serves as the company’s long-term reserve asset.
Fiat or stablecoins serve for operational liquidity.
This combination allows the company to operate without liquidating its strategic BTC position.
What has already been done
Kompass Frei has progressed through essential initial steps:
- A clearly defined treasury model, documented and structured for shareholders.
- A full legal framework, including the Shareholders’ Agreement and BTC-based participation rules.
- Study and understanding of the local environment in which the company has begun to operate (Antioquia): regulations, fiscal aspects, and administrative processes.
- Establishment of commercial relationships with vendors and service providers who share our approach to value, integrity, and long-term thinking.
- Development of an investment and treasury thesis aligned with Bitcoin’s role as a reserve asset.
These steps form the base upon which the company will continue to develop.
What comes next
Kompass Frei moves forward gradually and deliberately:
- Consolidation of a Bitcoin-aware network: partners, brokers, and sellers familiar with BTC.
- Implementation of the treasury mechanism that enables operational liquidity backed by shareholders’ BTC.
- Onboarding of aligned shareholders who value transparency, responsibility, and long-term stewardship.
- Development of on-chain transparency tools, allowing verifiable proof of BTC reserves and governance.
- Expansion of the company’s operations in the region, involving activities where Bitcoin’s role as a reserve asset contributes to sustainable growth.
The intention is to build carefully and transparently, step by step.
A measured approach to Bitcoin
Kompass Frei does not use Bitcoin for speculation.
Its role is foundational:
- as a reserve asset,
- as a store of long-term value,
- as a reference for treasury discipline.
The company’s structure is designed to preserve the BTC base, not reduce it.
Commercial activity, when possible, converts earned fiat into BTC, strengthening the reserve over time.
